Hire purchase
This is the probably the most common car finance package available and the one that most people recognise. In short the car belongs to the finance company until you have made all the payments set out in your finance contract. Once this final payment is made, the car is then owned by you. The payments can be spread generally over 1-5 years and are on a fixed payment repayment term so you know exactly what you are paying each month
Personal contract purchase
Personal Contract Purchase is growing in popularity due to the variety of options it offers to customers and it is great for people who like to change their car every two or three years.
This provides lower monthly repayments followed by a large final repayment.
At the end of a PCP agreement you will have paid off aprox 30-35% of the vehicle price and its upto you what you do at the end of the deal.You can either pay off the final payment and the vehicle will be owned by you, you can return the vehicle, or you can trade it in to us and start again with an upgraded vehicle.
